Jesse graduated college with high honors (cum laude). Jesse later received his Juris Doctorate from Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark School of Law and placed highly in numerous moot court and appellate advocacy competitions. While attending law school Jesse was awarded several academic scholarships and served on the editorial board of ILMR Law Review as the Managing Editor of Submissions.
Jesse has spent time clerking for the Honorable Judge James R. Taylor in Utah’s Fourth Judicial District Court and first started his legal career aggressively representing defendant’s charged with felony and misdemeanor crimes. For the last several years Jesse’s has focused exclusively on bankruptcy law and is a partner at one of Utah’s largest consumer bankruptcy firm. Jesse enjoys finding solutions to complex legal issues and regularly consults with fellow bankruptcy colleagues. He is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
In his free time, Jesse enjoys spending time with his wife and their three boys exploring Utah’s natural wonders and National Parks.
